While our small size keeps us economical and nimble, like many non-profit organizations we seek contributions to help us stay viable. Our ideal partnership would be with a local business or non-profit who could help us subsidize some of our costs by offering discounts or gifts-in-kind. In return, we can advertise the business at our concerts through publication and vocal announcements, advertise them on our website as a partner and sponsor, and brainstorm other creative ways to market their services.
Our financial costs go directly to paying for concert and rehearsal venue rental, musicians travel to DC, music rental, as well as stipends for featured soloists.
The Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra is run by a Board with experience as musicians as well as business outside of the performing arts. We are a forward leaning organization seeking to create real mutual benefit for businesses and our orchestra.
